Our business was founded in January 1979 and until now has managed to stand among the largest Greek factories producing knitted and woven cotton clothes. Originally founded under the name "G. Grigoropoulos Bros. Co." or "Olympic Greek Folk Art" located in Kato Patissia in Athens and later in Metamorfosi until today. In December 1994 it was named "Grigoropoulos Kyriakos", in January 2011 the name changed to "Grigoropoulou Athanasia" and from February 2021 till today the name is "Grigoropoulos K. Gregory".
We sell our products in wholesale and mainly work with shops in tourist areas and some shops in the Greek market. During all these years we have collaborated with companies abroad and particularly in America, Germany, Filandia, England and Australia.
Our products are produced by us in our workshop, where there is all the necessary equipment and also welding and painting are done by specialized Greek partners. We also use exclusively Greek cotton fabrics (mainly poplin mullahs) and yarn produced by Greek Crafts.
For this reason every clothe or knitted (since 2004) come along with a tag, trademark of our company, including the Greek flag and the map of Greece in order to identify the potential buyer that the product is 100% Greek. Of course both the paint and fabrics meet all the requirements and provisions for eligibility for costume use.
